ATHENS HYDRODYNAMIC SA was founded in 1977 by mechanical engineer Konstantinos Kourlaftis and economist Theodore Dimitrakopoulos. It is one of the main suppliers of industrial equipment for various production factories: steel, cement, oil (refineries), aluminium, energy, food, plastic and it also serves a significant part of the marine industry.

Besides, the company is active in the manufacturing process. It operates a fully equipped workshop (an area of 385m²), in privately owned industrial premises. It is involved in the manufacturing and repair of hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic units and special design mechanical constructions (products under custom made specifications).
